How Does a Flea & Tick Collar Work?
Collars contain active ingredients that are stored in the collar and are slowly released over your cat's full body. The active ingredients kill and repel fleas and ticks, but can also prevent flea eggs from hatching.

How to Apply: Hartz UltraGuard Flea & Tick Collar for Cats
Step 1
After stretching to activate, place the collar around the cat's neck and buckle in place.
Step 2
Ensure that two fingers fit comfortably between the collar and your cat's skin. Adjust the buckle if necessary.
Step 3
Leave 2 or 3 inches of collar after the buckle for extra adjustment, then cut off and dispose of the extra length
